Planning ranges from published clinic prices, not an offer. Only a surgeon who has examined you can price your actual operation.
How to read the result
- Combining procedures in one operation is almost always cheaper than having them separately, because you pay for one anaesthetic and one hospital stay.
- A deep plane lift costs more everywhere in the world. It takes longer, needs a surgeon who does it regularly, and that is exactly what you are paying for.
- A surgery-only price is not cheaper once you have paid for hospital, anaesthetist, nursing, garments, hotel and transfers yourself. Compare the whole trip.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a facelift in Turkey cost?
A mini or short-scar lift is typically quoted between €2,800 and €4,000 all-inclusive, a full SMAS facelift between €4,500 and €7,000, and a deep plane lift between €6,500 and €10,000. Adding eyelid surgery usually costs €800 to €1,800 more, and fat transfer around €1,000 to €1,500. The same operations are £9,000–£17,000 in the UK and $12,000–$25,000 in the United States. The spread inside Turkey reflects the surgeon's experience and the hospital as much as the technique.
Is it cheaper to combine procedures?
Almost always, and by a meaningful margin. You pay once for the anaesthetist, once for the operating theatre and once for the hospital stay, so adding eyelids or fat transfer to a facelift costs far less than having them as separate operations later. The limit is safety rather than money: long combined operations raise the risk of complications, and most surgeons cap a single session at around six hours. A surgeon who agrees to an unusually long list without discussing that limit is not being careful with you.
What is usually excluded from a facelift quote?
Most commonly: the anaesthetist as a separate fee, extra nights in hospital if you need them, compression garments, medication after discharge, follow-up beyond the first two weeks, and anything needed to treat a complication. Haematoma is the most common complication after a facelift and occasionally needs a return to theatre — ask specifically who pays for that. Ask for the quote itemised, and ask what the price becomes if your stay is extended for medical reasons.
