About us
What this site is, what it is not, and how it pays for itself.
faceliftturkey.biz is an independent information and referral platform for people considering a facelift or facial rejuvenation surgery in Turkey. We are not a clinic. We do not provide treatment, we do not diagnose, and we take no part in clinical decisions. Everything here is written from that position.
What we do is narrower and, we think, more useful. We write guides about how the face actually ages, what each procedure genuinely achieves, what non-surgical treatment can and cannot do, how long recovery really takes, and how to tell a board-certified surgeon from a brochure. We build free tools that let you assess your own face region by region, work out which procedure usually matches it, price it honestly and plan a recovery. And when you are ready, we pass a single enquiry to a small number of Turkish clinics we have checked, so that you receive written plans to compare instead of a sales call.
We check four things before we list a clinic: a current Turkish Ministry of Health licence in the name they apply with, a named operating surgeon with verifiable board certification, an accredited facility with a named anaesthetist for general anaesthetic work, and a written follow-up schedule that covers both the first two weeks in country and the months afterwards. Clinics that will not put those in writing are not listed.
How we are paid: clinics pay us a referral fee when a patient we introduced goes ahead. Patients never pay us anything. We state this openly because the alternative — letting you find out later — would undermine everything else on the site. It is also the reason we introduce you to several clinics rather than one.
Our guides are written in house from published surgical literature and from the price lists of clinics treating international patients. Every guide carries the date of its last review, because prices move and techniques change, and a guide that does not say when it was written is asking you to trust it blindly.
Questions, corrections and complaints all go to the same address: contactmail.bsam@gmail.com. If we have got something wrong, tell us and we will fix it and say so.
